A big part of what we do is installation of fire systems. Below are a few examples of work we have done on significant commercial properties in the Auckland region

METROPOLIS

Metropolis is a 40-storey residential / hotel skyscraper in the Auckland CBD. Developed in 1999 by Krukziener Properties it has been commended for its style and quality. Metropolis is considered one of Auckland's most exclusive apartment buildings, and as of 2013 it is the tallest residential building in New Zealand.

First Fire provides fire protection services to the building owners, including fire system compliance, refurbishments and retrofits to individual appartments, and alarm monitoring. We've been their full fire protection service contractor since 2008.

SENTINEL APPARTMENTS

Sentinel Appartments (sometimes called The Sentinel, or Sentinel Tower) is a luxury residential skyscraper in Takapuna, the central business area of North Shore City in Auckland The largest and currently only real skyscraper in the city, it has 30 levels and is 150 m tall including spire.

Offering sweeping views over the Waitemata Harbour, the wider Hauraki Gulf as well as over to the Auckland CBD skyline it was opened to the first residents in February 2008. The building contains 117 luxury apartments, with the uppermost two levels forming a massive 675 m²[1] penthouse, which was sold in 2007 for NZ$ 11 million.

SYLVIA PARK RESTHOME

This is a purpose built aged care facility

We installed, commissioned and maintain the fire protection services for this site.

DEVON PARK APPARTMENTS

Situated on Stanley point on Auckland's North Shore Devon Park was one of the first high-rise residential blocks to be build in Auckland.

We were responsibile for installing the oroginal fire alarm system. This year (2015) we are retrofitting a new fire alarm panel and upgrading the present fire detection devices.
